On October 18-19, the Italian Community of Ashoka Fellows, including Alfonso Molina, Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, will meet in Sicily for two public appointments in Capaci and Palermo. On the second day, they will also present a new Ashoka Fellow.

During the course of the “Capaci Open Door: Faces, Stories and Experiences of Immgiration,” the Ashoka Fellows will address the role of social innovators in the integration process.
In particular, the debate will focus on fellows who are involved first hand in this issue either because of their work or due to personal experience: Carlo Stasolla (Associazione 21 Luglio), Vincenzo Linarello (Consorzio Goel) and Alfonso Molina (Fondazione Mondo Digitale). Dario Riccobono, (Addiopizzo Travel) and Giulia Sergi (Fellowship Manager Ashoka Italia) will moderate the debate
Innovating for Change – A Debate in Palermo

What is the role of social innovation in Italy, today? And what is the role of Palermo in proposing a new vision of social change to the nation? The Ashoka Italy Community will involve citizens of Palermo and local social innovation bodies in round tables on the creation of impact with a systemic outlook.
