The Biggest Dream

“You have to dream bigger: a life without meaning is not a life” is the message that Alfonso Molina, co-founder and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale addresses to everyone and especially youth. This is how his story begins on the social channels of Ashoka Italia, an organisation that is committed to identifying, supporting and training those social entrepreneurs who provide the most innovative solutions to contemporary issues. There are 3700 social entrepreneurs worldwide and 20 in Italy who have been selected to become Ashoka Fellows. And since 2016, this includes Alfonso Molina [see news: Molina is an Ashoka Fellow].

What is technology? How do we develop technological abilities? How do we drive innovation through technological development? These are the questions to which Alfonso Molina has dedicated his PhD studies and academic career at the University of Edinburgh as personal chair in Technology Strategy. Then, he chose to found and work for a non-profit association to “reach out to people’s lives.”
