The Inclusive Development of Society

Alfonso Molina speaks at a secondary school talent meeting in Turin

Today the Turin Museo del Risparmio, will host a Campus on Financial and Entrepreneurial Education entitled “Finance and Economics for a Better Society.”

The objective of the two-day campus is to understand if economy and finance are wrong per se or if something is distorted in their application. Work will begin based on “Economics for the Common Good” and “Finance and the Good Society,” respectively written by Jean Tirole and Robert Shiller, two Economics Nobel Prize winners. A debate with prominent figures from financial and academic institutions will allow participants to delve into the factors that have led to the most recent crises, the relation between finance and ethics, and new tools and approaches (ESG, impact finance, innovation and digitalization) and with which finance can contribute to prosperity and reduce inequality.

Alfonso Molina, Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Personal Chair in Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh, will hold a presentation tomorrow morning (Dec. 15, 10:00) on “Digitalisation and Inclusive Development of Society.

The “I Fuoriclasse della Scuola” Project on secondary school talent was developed in collaboration by the Fondazione per l’Educazione Finanziaria e al Risparmio and the Ministry of Education, University and Research. Partners also include the museum of Savings and Confindustria.
